Massimo Iosa Ghini x Febal Casa
Italiana
A project where formal balance and evolved function coexist:
the kitchen becomes the heart of the home, a space for entertaining and at the same time
an environment designed to be lived in every day.

The kitchen designed by Iosa Ghini for Febal Casa
The Italiana kitchen, born from the collaboration between Febal Casa and the internationally renowned starchitect Massimo Iosa Ghini, is a contemporary interpretation of the Italian classic: the frame door redefines its own language through a calibrated balance between vertical stiles and horizontal rails, creating an elegant and immediately recognisable mark.
The character of the project begins on the door, where a metal insert made in continuity with the integrated handle introduces a refined graphic mark. From here, the detail extends to the entire system, reappearing on the hood and the display cabinets, all the way to the side of the island, characterised by the frame design: a single line that holds together all the components of the kitchen and defines its recognisability.

Symmetry, the architect’s stylistic signature, is developed here on a double register: formal and operational. The rigorous composition is matched by a functional duplication of elements, appliances and sinks, which turns geometric balance into performance in use, making the work area accessible and shareable from several points at once.
Designed as a system, the Italiana kitchen is arranged in linear, corner or central-island compositions, integrating base units, wall units, tall units, display cabinets and open elements in a coherent layout. Worktops, sides and backs can be customised by choosing from all the finishes and materials in the Febal Casa range, to build, every time, a warm and sophisticated aesthetic in dialogue with the rest of the space.
